Kayleigh Gallagher Honoured with the Inspiration Award – Indigenous Student of the Year

Kayleigh Gallagher, a former trainee of WPC Group's trainee support program, received the 'Inspiration Award – Indigenous Student of the Year' at the AEN Awards ceremony held at Government House in Victoria.

This newly introduced award category recognises the achievements of Indigenous apprentices and trainees in Victoria and their dedication to their communities.

Kayleigh completed her business traineeship at DELWP, which focuses on growing its own Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce and creating lasting change and sustainable jobs for Indigenous peoples. DELWP is committed to strengthening its relationship with the Traditional Land Owners in Victoria and works with Indigenous communities across the state to provide employment, training, and business opportunities to all Indigenous people living in Victoria.

Kayleigh's achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication, and it is an inspiration to other Indigenous apprentices and trainees in Victoria.
