As Chair of WPC Group, I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands where we work and live. As an organisation, we celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also live and work on these lands.

WPC Group was founded in 1982 as a not-for-profit community enterprise to advance the apprenticeship and traineeship group training model.

Our mission is to source meaningful employment opportunities for Australians of all backgrounds, and to provide each with mentoring and support to help them grow, and to flourish and succeed.

From our humble origins in Melbourne’s western suburbs, we have grown to become one of the largest employers of apprentices and trainees in Australia, and an acknowledged and respected industry leader and innovator.

Over the years, we have provided thousands of Australians from diverse backgrounds with the confidence and support to find and keep that all-important first job and to obtain a qualification and a rewarding career.

We proudly boast an industry leading employment-to-completion rate of 82%. We believe, in Australia, where you come from has no bearing on how far you can go.
