To a green, sustainable, environmental apprentice you need to:
  • Have a passion for the environment
  • An interest in environment and sustainability issues
  • Enjoy practical and mechanical activities
  • Like working outdoors (Horticulture / Land Conservation / Trades)
  • Desire to work in an office (Business)
  • Good written and oral communication skills)
  • Ability to work methodically and accurately

 

Green, Sustainable, Environmental Apprenticeships
Parks & Gardens - Certificate III Horticulture, Parks & Gardens (4 years)
Landscaping - Certificate III Horticulture, Landscaping (4 years)
Turf management - Certificate III Horticulture, Turf management (4 years)
Electrotechnology (4 years)

 

Green, Sustainable, Environmental Traineeships
Conservation Land Management - Certificate II Conservation Land Management (12-18 mths)
Business (Environment and sustainability) - Certificate III Business

You'll enjoy earning while you learn and receive a nationally recognised qualification on completion.

A dedicated consultant from WPC Group will make sure you're enrolled at TAFE and be there to help guide you through your apprenticeship or traineeship. WPC Group will assist you with your TAFE fees and you may be eligible for an Apprentice Trade bonus ($250 at 6 months and 12 months).

Horticulture Rural Apprentices (only) will receive 'Tools for the trade' worth $800 once you have reached 3 months.
