From the 1st to the 8th of October 2011, WPC Group and several leading industry partners will be joining the National Skills Week team to offer b a series of ‘hands on’ events Nationally that you will be able to come and see and more importantly, participate in. You won’t see brochures and PowerPoint – Instead some live demonstrations and first hand testimonials of what its really like. Not only will you be doing something for yourself, you will also be a part of securing Australia’s future.
With new technology and changing workplaces, Apprenticeships more than ever are a critical component of driving Australia’s economic prosperity. WPC Group CEO Nicholas Wyman said “ According to Skills Australia, the nation will need 2.4 million new workers with Certificate III level skills by 2015, and 5.2 million by 2025” . “ There are literally 1000’s of exciting skilled carer pathways to explore and I urge you to join in on the activities”
